The SLEF is proud to have initiated activities and programmers that provide direct and indirect benefits to the rural communities in tourism generating areas of Sri Lanka. Since the SLEF is run mostly on a charitable basis and proceeds generated by Sri Lanka Eco Tours through its limited tour operations, the accomplishments of our objectives totally depend on the continuing goodwill and financial support of our members and well-wishers. We need your support to keep it going. Additionally, the ongoing success of our activates and programmes depend cortically on our ability to increase donations.

Mr. Goji Atsumi and Mrs. Masako Atsumi from Chiba, Japan and their friends collected JY-209,000 and 10 sewing machines and donated for the Community Ecotourism Projects initiated by Sri Lanka Ecotourism Foundation in March, 2007.
